This is an excellent read! Mr Chernov was an early pioneer and promoter of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts concert scene with stories that come alive with history and humor. As I read the book, I felt like I was there living the situations as they happened and I was captivated by his insight, charm and storytelling of an era where anything was possible. Highly Recommended.

Captivating account of a true impresario.....

Beautifully captures the spirit of the times as well as the eccentric personality of a genuine one-of-a-kind entrepreneur. A fast read with lots of quick scenery changes to keep the reader interested in knowing where the "promoter's" adventurous spirit will lead him next.

Took me down memory lane

This book was a trip down memory lane for me. It fleshed out some of my hazy memories of the past. Because I worked for Skip during much of the period from the Warehouse to the concert promotions, I know a lot of the back story. I may not have enjoyed it as much otherwise. I think this would have been interesting included in a broader biography of his life.
